The Oro Verde cooperative from Lamas, Peru by the Amazon Basin, is well known for its fine cocoa, coffee and its reforestation program.
The program aims to protect the Amazon rainforest and the heritage and culture of the Quichua natives.
Farmers from the cooperative have been producing specialty coffee since 2019.
The varietal allows the fruitiness of red berries, notes of dark chocolate and the sweetness of Molasses to shine through and gives this coffee a unique taste palette.
